Pattern Details

Size

Murray measures 8 inches tall when made with worsted weight yarn.

Want a bigger or smaller squirrel? Use thicker or thinner yarn and a larger or smaller hook!

Difficulty

This is a skill stretcher, best for folks who have made a few amigurumi already.

Skills required:

  • single crochet
  • increasing
  • decreasing
  • attaching parts
  • loop stitch for that fluffy tail (tutorial included)

  • worsted weight yarn in 3 colors less than a skein of the main color (grey in the sample) plus a tiny bit of black and white
  • Size H crochet hook (or size appropriate for yarn chosen)
  • Polyester stuffing
  • two 12 mm black eyes
  • Tapestry needle
  • Locking stitch markers
