The idea for FreshStitches began in 2008 when crochet designer, Stacey Trock, noticed a distinct lack of patterns for big and cuddly stuffed animals. Meet Malcolm the Duck

Ever met someone famous? You’re about to!

Malcom looks like a duck, but is he? I mean, if he doesn’t walk or talk like a duck, I suppose he’s just a stuffed duck? In any case, he’s cute and cuddly and is sure to be loved! Malcolm measures 7.5″ tall when crocheted with a a worsted weight yarn.

Materials Required

Spud and Chloe Sweater is the yarn used in sample: Yellow (130 yards) and Orange (25 yards). This pattern can be used with any weight yarn, but plan on using more yardage for bulkier yarns.
