New March Patterns

March is going to be a really exciting month! Not only is Cuddly Crochet being released on the 15th of this month, but we have 3 new great patterns, as well!

cowfelt Meet Travis the felted cow! I love designing felted animals- they’re so huggable and almost a foot tall! And since Jackie the Cow has been a best-selling pattern numerous times, I thought a felted version would be just the thing to add to our collection. Voila, Travis!

bunnyeggThis month, we started designing ‘convertible amigurumi’… meaning that you can turn the amigurumi inside out and get a surprise! The first convertible amigurumi is Len the Bunny in an Easter egg. Len is 6.5″ tall when completed, and this cute bunny lives inside of a brightly decorated Easter egg. The egg is a great stash-buster… you can use whatever color scraps you have to make the egg any color you want!

easterchickThe second convertible amigurumi this month (still in keeping with an ‘Easter theme’) is Russ the Chick in an Egg. Russ is an adorable little chick that hatches from a plain egg. Kids love turning the toy inside out over and over again… and it’s no more difficult to crochet than our ordinary amigurumi! (Remember that all of our patterns contain progress photos… so you can always see what your amigurumi should look like as you go.)

It’s a big month, and we’re in love with these new patterns. To find out about yardage requirements and information about difficulty level, click on the photos above, or visit FreshStitches.com. Happy March!

    Hey Stacey,

I think the new March designs are cute and quite a surprise. It’s amazing what you can do with a hook and yarn.
