Another month, and three more FreshStitches patterns! This month’s new patterns include two adorable animals and a hat!
I really like owls. In fact, Nelson the Owl is one of my favorite patterns. And, as I wrote in a previous post, I’ve been seeing owls all over the place… so I suppose other people like owls, too! So, since we’re still in the dead of winter in the northern hemisphere, I thought I’d design an owl hat. This hat is sized from children sizes to adult, and is the perfect owl accessory!

The second pattern, as I alluded to in my sneak peak is Jeff the Valentine’s Day dog. I think he’s really adorable! The heart is made separately from the pup, and they are stitched together… so really, this one pattern has a lot of options! You could make oodles of hearts! Or, just a plain dog! It’s up to you! I think it’s a great present for Valentine’s Day… and you could even embroider a little message on the heart. Nothing’s better than a homemade gift!

The third pattern is Bevan the kiwi… not the fruit, the bird! For those of you unfamiliar with this odd New Zealand creature, click on the wikipedia article. They’re funny little flightless animals… so I didn’t get lazy and forget to add wings, they really look like they don’t have any! So, this pattern is a fun, quick pattern, because kiwis (quite frankly) don’t have a lot going on… they’re just a little ball of feathers with a beak and feet! But cute, nonetheless!
I hope you enjoy this month’s patterns! I enjoyed designing them!
