What do you do on a snow day?

Today in New Haven, CT is a snow day. Here’s the view from my window:

I’m just sorting out what I should do on my snow day.

For sure, I’m going to snuggle up on the sofa with my log cabin afghan:

I just bought a lovely skein of Noro Iro while at WEBS the other day… maybe I should spend today knitting a hat with it?

Or, should I spend today working on my quilting project? Oh, choices!

What do you like to do on a snow day?

I love that yarn. It’s very much like my Fair Isle effect scarf and hat. Enjoy the snow and have fun. How about tobogganning?

We never have snow days here, but I’m sure you’ll figure out something for yourself.

It was being snowed in 2 yeras ago that prompted me to learn to knit. So once I’d been outside to play in the snow for a while (it’s still quite a novelty when it snows here in ‘sunny’ England) and thawed out, I’d snuggle up and get on with one of my many projects. Probably a massive crocheted blanket.

Oh, I’m jealous of your snow! Sounds like the perfect makings for a lovely cosy day :)
