The idea for FreshStitches began in 2008 when crochet designer, Stacey Trock, noticed a distinct lack of patterns for big and cuddly stuffed animals. Meet Gary the Tiny Frog

Who wouldn’t fall in love with this adorable little frog? He’s small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and he’s quick and easy to crochet!

Gary measures 5″ tall when crocheted with a worsted weight yarn.

Materials Required

Spud and Chloe Sweater (50% wool, 50% cotton) is the yarn used in sample in colors: Green (55 yards) and White (10 yards). This pattern can be used with any weight yarn, but plan on using more yardage for bulkier yarns.
