The idea for FreshStitches began in 2008 when crochet designer, Stacey Trock, noticed a distinct lack of patterns for big and cuddly stuffed animals. Meet Ivo the Seahorse

Seahorses are beautiful creatures… but can be hard to find. Now, you can crochet one of your own! Ivo is super-cute and loveable, and just like a real seahorse, looks great in any color!

Ivo measures 14.5″ tall when crocheted with a worsted weight yarn.

Materials Required

Ella Rae Classic (100% wool) is the yarn used in sample in colors: Yellow (220 yards), White (10 yards) and Black (10 yards). This pattern can be used with any weight yarn, but plan on using more yardage for bulkier yarns.
