New Adorable Otter Pattern!

Even though I’ve designed lots of cute animals… I’ll admit it: my number of sea animals was really lacking.

I knew I needed to fix that.

So I thought… what’s the cutest sea animal that I haven’t crocheted yet?

The answer seemed obvious: an otter!

They have adorable teddy-bear-like faces and sweet little paws that are usually holding onto something yummy or another otter!

So… here’s mine!

Don’t you love her? She’s got a little starfish (instructions included!) and the curve in her body is a fun bit of crochet (using slip stitches).

I can imagine all sorts of fun variations on this pattern… otters holding clams or beach balls… maybe even an otter with a heart for Valentine’s Day! (grab my free hearts pattern to make that happen!)

Or two otters holding hands! Squee! Can you tell I’m excited?

Grab the pattern… with a coupon!

I’d like to celebrate this sweetie’s release with a little deal for you!

Use the code OTTER to get $1 off until the end of day tomorrow (Friday)!

So cute! Idea: put snaps or magnets in the paws so they can hook up with another otter! Real otters do that so they don’t drift away from their group.

  2. VERY cute! His little face would be cute with the use of some eyelash or fun fur yarn I can’t part with!
