I’m totally in love with Carlton (in fact, a photo of him is my avatar on twitter and a few other sites): he’s so big! Another reason I love Carlton is that he’s awesome for stash-busting and using up those little bits of leftovers!
How is he great for using up leftovers? It looks like Carlton has been crocheted with only 3 colors… but look closer. He’s crocheted with cream, pink and green… but lots of different shades of them! To crochet this guy, I pulled out all of those leftover skeins of yarn in these 3 color families and went at it. I’ve included detailed instructions for striping in the pattern, so it’s as easy as pie!
And as you can see, I couldn’t resist hitting my reds and dark-pinks and making a second cuddly friend!
