I’m so excited… today, I get to show you 2 monsters that I actually finished a little while ago, but were secret!
You see… I was commissioned to do a 10 monster collection for Elle Rae Classic Wool, and I couldn’t say a ‘peep’ until the monsters were revealed!
Did I mention that they’re FREE patterns? How awesome is that!
Alfo
Don’t let his bright-purple body fool you… Alfo’s actually quite quiet and likes to think about ‘big issues’.

He’s not at all shy about his big teeth… in fact, he thinks it’s great for a laugh!
Love Alfo? Here’s his Ravelry Page… go ahead and add him to your queue!
Bixi
Bixi’s fun, sassy and LOVES showing off bright colors!
And, she isn’t afraid to do a little screaming…
Love Bixi? Here’s her Ravelry Page… go ahead and add her to your queue!
Spread the Monster-love!
I’m so excited about spreading the monster love… thank you so much to Ella Rae for providing these two (plus 8 more!) crochet patterns for free! Let’s get crocheting!
Thanks for stopping by and reading!

I will! I might be riding on these for a few FO Fridays :)
My Bixi is zipping along!
I’m loving seeing all the monsters popping up on Ravelry already. :-)
EEE! Can’t wait to see your photos!
You have excellent dental hygiene, Stacey! It’s very generous of you to offer the patterns. I’m going to make some as baby gifts because – honestly, how many teddies can a baby have vs. cool monsters?
Thank you! I always make sure to floss :)
I used to want to be a dentist when I was little!
What fun! Great work, Stacey!
So cute! Your creations always have such fun personalities. I especially love Alfo and his big teeth.
So I read this post last night on my netbook…thought it was great, but must not have sunk in who you made the patterns for…this morning clicking around on the Knitting Fever blog/site and they are talking about monsters…and I said..wow those look like Stacey’s work…finally found a designer mention…and lo and behold it was you!
So happy you spotted them, Gracey!
