About FreshStitches

The idea for FreshStitches began in 2008 when crochet designer, Stacey Trock, noticed a distinct lack of patterns for big and cuddly stuffed animals. A handful of adorable designs later- FreshStitches was born!

Since then, FreshStitches patterns have become legendary for their cuteness, detailed instructions and step-by-step photos. Using the abundance of help and information in the patterns, numerous crocheters have crocheted a FreshStitches animal as their first crochet project!

FreshStitches has also become more than just a site for patterns- it’s become a destination for crochet resources and tutorials. The website compliments the charmingly clear pattern instructions with even more helpful tips, videos and information online.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your hook and get started!

      Hi Erin-
So happy that you’re enjoying my patterns!
My husband’s an Aussie… so while we live in the US, we spend a month a year in Sydney :)

Hi Stacey Love your work, and thank you so much for the e-book for beginners. It explains everything so clearly and answers all my questions. My first attempt was a bit uneven and lumpy so now I hope to get better at it! Thanks too for the hand exercises. I have arthritis in my fingers so get cramped up very quickly.
I used to live in Sydney. So much to see and enjoy over there. You sound as if you have a life most of us would envy! Thanks for sharing your beautiful creations with the rest of us. :) Margaret.
