I had a very long flight this past week (just to San Francisco, but a giant lightning storm meant that various delays occurred), so I finished my Wingspan before even getting to my destination! I used leftover sock yarn, and I’m very happy with it:
And since it’s pretty lightweight, I can tell I’ll be wearing it through spring!
Recently, I’ve been making a lot of owls as orders for baby shower presents in my Etsy Shop, and I started brainstorming about who else might want an owl. Then it hit me: graduates!
So I designed a graduation owl:
I began this pair of socks in the summer of 2009 (yeah… almost 3 years ago!), but got bored with them and let them hibernate. I decided it was time to finish them off:
Hooray! I promise to not take 3 years to finish my next pair of socks!
As you know, I’ve been working on a collection of cutie-crawlies (to add to my slug and snail)… and I came up with a ladybug!
I’ve been wanting to do a ladybug for a while… and finally, the right design came to me! I’m liking this cutie!
Thanks for stopping by and reading! If you want to see more great finished items… make sure to visit Tami’s Amis blog, the organizer of this great FO Friday theme!
I hope you have an awesome and craft-filled weekend!
I, for one, am hoping to get some crocheting and knitting squeezed in!
