FO Friday: cutie cargo shorts!

Happy Friday, everyone!

As I told you about on Wednesday, I had one lingering Christmas present to finish knitting… and I’m happy to report that I finished knitting Hugo’s cargo shorts in time!

Hugo (who’s 3 years old) wasn’t overjoyed about his pants… but his parents were, and they fit perfectly! And the pocket (I only made one because I ran short of yarn) was the perfect size to fit his little lovie that he carries around. Doesn’t get better than that, does it?

Thanks for stopping by and reading! If you want to see more great finished items… make sure to visit Tami’s Amis blog, the organizer of this great FO Friday theme!

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

It makes me giggle that you knitted a pair of shorts. It’s not something I would have thought of making but it’s kinda awesome. I take the first part back, my husband’s coworker keeps bugging me to knit him a pair of pants. I think I’ll make him a pair of doll sized ones.

  3. Very cute!!!! My 2 year old would love anything with a pocket – she keeps all sorts of things, and hairclips – lots of hairclips!

    Happy new year

They came out great! Hugo must be a popular name down there…I’ve read a couple other blogs that mention some Hugos

I love knitted shorts and trousers, they’re really lovely.

  6. So cute!!!! I can imagine he wasn’t thrilled but surely when he grows up, he’ll say, “Aunt Stacey made me awesome, unique gifts that outlived all of my other gifts!” :)
