Happy Friday, everyone!
This week, I’ve been visiting my mom in Kansas, so I’ve gotten in some knitting time, as well as some ‘miscellaneous crafting time’! Most excitingly, I finished the skirt that I began knitting last week:

I love how it turned out, and I’m hoping it will make a great addition to my summer wardrobe. It’s in a neutral color, so it will go with lots of other tops!
In other crafting news, I sewed a set of curtains for my mom’s bathroom:

Sorry the photo isn’t great… but I made them all by myself! Yay!
Also this week, I finished my first tatted ‘thing’. I just learned to tat this week, and from all of the comments, it sounds like you want to stay updated on my progress!
In tatting, you basically make lots of little slip knots… but if one of those becomes a real knot, the work won’t slide and it’s over. That happened to me after about 5 inches of work… so I have a bookmark!

It’s my first tatted piece, and even though it was cut a bit short by an oopsie… I’m super proud!
So, that’s all for this week! Thanks for stopping by and looking! If you want to see more great finished items… make sure to visit Tami’s Amis blog, the organizer of this great FO Friday theme!
I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Your skirt looks great! So fun for nice weather.
The tatting is super cool! I definitely want to see more.
Wow, you have been busy! I have little to show for my week, except a spreadsheet of all my yarn! But, is that really something finished. Are we ever done with buying yarn?
The skirt is amazing. It looks so good with black!
The tatting looks great. I can’t believe it has no margin of error! How nerve wracking. You should be super proud.
Ruffles make skirts look so fun, don’t they? You did a great job on everything this week. Good luck with the tatting, it looks tricky to me :-)
The skirt looks amazing on you! Great length, and it looks like so much fun to wear.
And I love the tatting, the pattern you chose is so cool, to me it looks like a cross between hearts and cute little eyes with big eyelashes.
thanks so much!
What a cute skirt! Love the ruffles.
