I’m super-excited to announce that my new book, Crocheted Softies, gets released today!
About the Book
This book is a dream come true for me! Of course, I’m in love with designing stuffed animals… but I’m also really passionate about crocheting with quality yarns that are good for the environment and help you create stuffed animals that will become long-lasting heirlooms! Crocheters often get a bad rap for only being interested in crocheting with cheap and scratchy yarn… but it’s not true! We’re just as interested in deliciously soft and yummy yarns as knitters are!
Crocheted Softies is packed with patterns for 18 stuffed animals, each made with fun and earth-friendly fibers like organic cotton, undyed alpaca, bamboo and recycled silk. Stuffed animals don’t require a lot of yardage, so I think it’s a great chance to experiment with some awesome yarns!
Since I got such rave reviews about the detailed crochet instructions in my first book, Cuddly Crochet, I kept up the same philosophy with this book. You’ll find a hefty introduction: complete with step-by-step illustrations of crochet stitches and details about how to finish your stuffed animals so they’re as cute as can be!
I hope you love this book as much as I loved writing it!

Crocheted softies will be available in all major bookstores and many local yarn stores. Of course, it’s also available on Amazon, where you can have a peek inside the book.
