The Bobble stitch is a popcorn-style stitch that I invented especially for amigurumi. It gives you a nice puff, without the holes in the fabric that are typical of other popcorn stitches.
The puff is obtained by working multiple stitches into one row below your current working row, and requires working in the back loop only.
