So… is there some business planning in your New Year plans?

Wow THANK YOU for putting these together, especially the photography and business sections. Although I am a yarn & fabric supply shop, I do host guilds, teach basic classes and make a few handmade things to try to promote my shop. Great tips :)
Thanks for sharing this roundup!
Hi Stacey! This is a FANTASTIC roundup! There IS business planning in my 2013, so I’ll be using this post a lot.
A teaser about my upcoming plans, and a question: How do you feel about crocheting plushies with handspun yarn? :)
That’s such a great question about the handspun! I’ve done it before, and the effect can be fabulous! In my opinion, you’d want a handspun of mostly uniform thickness… since in general, plushies made with thick/thin yarn wind up with holes that stuffing pokes through on the thin yarn bits.
Go for it!
This is a wonderful and very helpful post. Some of the links, unfortunately, seem to be broken. =(
@Marion- Oopsies! Sorry about that! I had forgotten to put ‘http://’ in front of some of the links. All fixed now!
