Meet Little Ger the Felted Bear
Ever met someone famous? You’re about to!
Lil Ger is a fantastic beginning project for felting: it’s so easy! You crochet the pieces from a wool yarn, and then toss them in the washing machine, and magic happens! This project is crocheted holding two strands of yarn together and a big hook, so it works up fast. And because this bear is felted, it’s very durable and huggable.
Little Ger measures 8″ tall when completed. For a larger felted teddy bear, check out Lil’ Ger’s big brother, Gerry the Felted Bear.

Ella Rae Classic is the yarn used in the sample: White (400 yds) and tan (50 yds). This pattern can be used with any weight yarn, but plan on using more yardage for bulkier yarns. It is important that the yarn is 100% wool so that it will felt!
