I’m working on something…
… and it’s very tiny!
Isn’t it adorable?!?
I just might have a plan for some super-tiny kits up my sleeve… but I’m not spilling the details, yet!
And some other fingering-weight projects…
I’ve cast on for Mrs Tumnus by Eskimimi:
I adore Eskimimi’s blog, and I was really attracted to the unique horseshoe-shape of this shawl.
Unfortunately, the only size 8s I have are wood, and the grippyness is driving me a little batty. I might splurge on a new circular to remedy the situation!
I’m also working on a sock:
The yarn is Knit Picks Felici Sport (which I nabbed on sale because it’s being discontinued), but it seems mighty thin for a sport weight. I’m knitting it up as if it were a fingering, and the gauge seems spot on!
Have I mentioned how much I love my 9″ circular?
I’m right in between books right now, so I have nothing to report on that front.
However, this morning, I did something pretty interesting… I went to a restorative connective tissue class!
I have pretty bad wrists (lots of crocheting and typing!), and get (painful) ganglion cysts, which are a build-up of joint fluid. (sorry if that’s more than you wanted to know)
So, this morning, I thought I’d give a class which uses the Melt Method to workout your connective tissue and fluid.
I liked it! I might even get the at-home kit for working on my wrists… I’ll keep you posted if I experience significant improvement.

I have that exact Felici sport yarn and haven’t made anything with it because I thought the same thing…it seems so much more fingering weight than sport! Loving the design of that shawl! Guess it’s going on my favs for later :-P

And I like your 9″ circular.. where did you find it? I need one too! I’m not really a fan of doing small things in the round on dpns. :-)
@Max- Thanks! The 9″ circular I bought from my LYS, but they’re also available online. Mine is HiyaHiya, but clover also makes a wooden one. I love them!
