A fun heart-filled hat!

Yesterday, I recorded a super-fun video to post on the blog today… well… I began uploading the video this morning, and over an hour later, it’s only 8% uploaded. Ooops.

So, how about I show you the hat I finished knitting? And I’ll show you the video, later!

Knitted hearts hat colorwork stranded

Don’t you love it? Check out the Ravelry page for full details.

It was such a fun knit… I’m thinking of making another! Maybe white with red and pink hearts?

reading

This week, I finished reading Wait: The Art and Science of Delay. It was… okay.

It had some interesting studies about the perception of time (for example, did you know that hourly wage-earners have a harder time relaxing on the weekends than salaried employees, because they perceive their time as having a time-linked value?). But, for me, it had a bit too much prose and a very weak theme throughout. Not a waste of reading time, but I’m not sure I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Thanks for stopping by and reading!

If you want to see more great finished items… make sure to visit Tami’s Amis blog, the organizer of this great FO Friday theme!

I hope you have an awesome and craft-filled weekend!

And, well… I’ll show you that video soon! As soon as it decides to finish uploading!

Stacey, it is so strange to see snow in your photo and to be reminded that some parts of the world are actually cold at the moment.
The last few days have been really hot here again. Nothing like the temperatures we had while you were here, but still enough for sweating.
Enjoy the lovely snow for us down under OK.
    Joyce :)
